For the direct recruitment of Vidya Sahayak (Standard 1 to 5 Gujarati Medium) in Government Primary Schools under District Education Committee/Town Education Committee, online applications in the prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates in accordance with the provisions of the current and time-to-time amendments of the Education Department dated 17/03/2013 and the provisions of the selection process rules of the Education Department Notification No. GH/SH/0/PRE/11-2016/SF-s/K dated 20/01/2017.

As per the approval received from the Education Department vide letter dated 31/03/2026, only the total vacancies have been indicated in this advertisement. After the completion of the district transfer camp of primary teachers of government primary schools, the details of the vacant vacancies based on the roster of all the district/town education committees will be obtained and the vacancies will be published on the website later, district wise and primary school wise.



Out of the said 11000 vacancies, the same percentage of vacancies as decided by the General Administration Department for the differently-abled will be shown as the second occasion among the vacancies not filled in the first occasion under the special recruitment campaign for the differently-abled. For which vacancies, the General Administration Department dated The process of recruitment mentioned in the second occasion will be carried out on 20/11/2024, which all the candidates should take note of.

Further, as per the approval received from the said letter, the candidates who are currently studying in the final year of D.EL.Ed. and have passed the TET-1 examination will be able to apply now. The marks and marksheet of such candidates of D.El.Ed. will be allowed to be added online after the publication of their D.EL.Ed. result.

 (2) Educational qualification, eligibility criteria, age limit, relaxation in age limit, rules of selection process, list of acceptance centres, instructions for filling online application form and general instructions as well as all the necessary instructions/circulations regarding recruitment will be published on the above website. Applications should be made after studying them carefully.
