Provisional Merit List for the Recruitment of Vidya Sahayak (Standards 1 to 5 Gujarati Medium) for the Year 2026


In order to prepare a merit list for filling the posts of Vidya Sahayak (Standards 1 to 5 Gujarati Medium) for the year 2026 on merit basis in the schools under the District/Town Education Committee, online applications were invited from the candidates in the prescribed format by giving an advertisement in the newspapers dated 01/04/2026 with Advertisement No.: 01/2026.  Accordingly, based on the provisions of the resolution of the Education Department dated 17/03/2023, a provisional merit list of candidates will be prepared and published on the website https://dpegujarat.in on 10/08/2026 at 18.30 hrs. The candidate will have to click on login for merit and enter the TET examination number and year, primary/upper primary, mobile number and password mentioned on their application form. To view the merit list, by clicking on the merit link given in the login, they will be able to view their merit list and merit on the website. After that, by clicking on the link where the objection application is written, all the necessary details of the candidate's application form can be viewed.


 (1) If there is any mistake in the name, qualification, category and merit marks etc. of the candidates, then all the candidates can get the print of the online correction form (objection application) on the above website from 10/08/2026 to 20/08/2026. If any correction is required in the details mentioned in this correction form, then the details in the correction form along with the necessary grounds should be submitted to the objection application acceptance center from 13/08/2026 to 20/08/2026 (except public holidays) from 11.00 to 18.00 hours. No new details can be added in the correction form.


(2) The candidate can submit the correction form (objection application) by attaching the necessary supporting evidence in support of the details to be corrected by going in person to the acceptance center where the first application form was submitted.  Please note that objection applications will not be accepted under any circumstances except with the original proof (certificate) of the details presented in the amendment. Amendments made under objection applications will be accepted only if they are consistent with the context of the advertisement.


(3) As per the approval received from the Education Department vide letter dated 31/03/2026, only total vacancies are mentioned in this advertisement. Details of vacancies based on the roster of District/Town Education Committee will be obtained and the vacancies will be published on the website district wise and primary school wise later.


(4) Final merit list and instructions for call letters etc. for candidates appearing in merit will be published on the website later. Therefore, candidates should keep visiting the https://dpegujarat.in website regularly till the completion of the recruitment process.

(5) The entire process regarding the said recruitment is as follows.  All candidates should note that the final decision of the Special C.N.3005/2026 filed in the High Court and other petitions related thereto will be subject to it.
